Major Field Programs

ARM West Antarctic Radiation Experiment (AWARE), 1 November 2015 – 20 February 2017. Serving as Lead Principal Investigator for joint NSF/DOE collaborative program involving Brookhaven National Laboratory, Los Alamos National Laboratory, Byrd Polar and Climate Research Center, and Penn State Department of Meteorology. A Year-long deployment of DOE ARM Mobile Facility at Ross Island with summer season deployment of additional ARM instruments at WAIS Divide Ice Camp.

NASA Arctic Radiation-IceBridge Sea and Ice Experiment (ARISE), 1-30 September 2014. C-130 research aircraft campaign over Beaufort Sea September 1-30, 2014. Served as Science team member invited by NASA for cloud physics mission planning.
